As if we were in the movie scene of The Great Gasby, with the audience swinging their 20's themed costume, it was a night of glitzy, glamour and ofcourse to be remembered in the mind of those who attended the evening. Named as 'The Party of the Century', this star-studded event gathered some A-list celebrities who can be seen putting their best look while gracing the red carpet- from hotel heiress, Paris Hilton to international artist Taboo of Black Eyed Peas; flying from down under, Australia's Got Talent winner, Mark Vincent to the K-pop ballad group, 2AM.   

Held in Empire City, Kuala Lumpur, the starter for the party this evening was specially flew in from South Korea; the ballad group idol of 2AM. Portraying a sartorial elegance in their best 20's themed, they kicked off their performance serenading the audience with one of their hits, You Wouldn't Answer My Call. Their powerful voices garnered lots of attention especially to those who seldom listening to the Korean songs. The quartet also continued to mesmerise the audience with another melodious harmony while singing Can't Let You Go Even If I die- expressing another emotional and spectacular ballad performance.

As the atmosphere on the dance floor seems serene, it's time for party-jam song as2AM presented With or Without You- a fast-beat dance song to pump up the adrenaline of the audience. They started to shake and groove to the beat, setting up the mood for the party which will last till late night. It was indeed a solid performance by 2AM.

The Empire City is a self-contained project for commercial, entertainment, business meeting, dining, shopping and relaxing; promoting the 5 pillars that offered a vibrant lifestyle i.e from music, performances, art, design and culture. In line with the 5 pillars which became the spinal cord of this project, Australia's Got Talent winner showcasing his powerful operatic vocal to represent the city's prominence in music. For performances, the electric violinist who is also an aerialist flipped a magnificent acrobatic show which stunned the audiences who were watching her from below. Speed painters duo, Michael Raivard and Brad Blaze were next to showcase their amazing art piece while a group of shadow dancers danced out their synchronised routines to symbolise the development in design. As for culture, the flying dragons drum performance embodied the roots and heritage of Empire City.

After a packed splendid performances, it's time to welcome on stage the gorgeous socialite and heiress, Ms Paris Hilton as she entertained the audience with her signature mix of EDM tracks. The rapper of Black Eyed Peas, Taboo continued the party atmosphere as he performed I got a Feeling, Boom Boom Pow, Where is the Love and Rocking to the Beat.

Empire City's 'The Party of the Century' is certainly one of its kind. With the glitzy 20's theme, it breathed luxury and prestige- a vibrant and stylish atmosphere which the city aimed for; as the construction and development of the project is deem to be completed by the end of 2015.
