K-Pop Label SM Entertainment To Open 3D Hologram Theater At Japanese Theme Park Huis Ten Bosch

SM Entertainment will be opening their own hologram theater at Huis Ten Bosch in Japan this coming April.

This hologram theater will open at a theme park located in Nagasaki called the Huis Ten Bosch. From April 3 to July 5, the theater will be open to the public.

At the hologram theater, people can watch hologram performances by Super Junior, TVXQ, Girls’ Generation, SHINee, f(x) and EXO.

This hologram theater is bigger than an IMAX theater and uses a 33 meter large-scale screen with 12K resolution quality, to bring a more real-life effect to the performances.

Huis Ten Bosch also requested for the implementation of standardized technology exports to create high quality content for the show, according to reports.

In 2013, SM opened a SMTOWN Hologram V-Theater with Universal Studios Japan and became the first hologram theater to open in Japan.

They also held their ‘School OZ’ hologram musical at the Seoul SMTOWN@coexartium this past January.
