Lee Hi Ranks Number 1 For 16 Days, Beating Busker Busker's Record

'Monster rookie' Lee Hi has beaten Busker Busker's record. Lee Hi has stayed at number 1 for 16 days in a row.

Lee Hi released her debut album on October 29 and is still urgently number 1 on various music sites with her debut song, "1,2,3,4."

Lee Hi was a runner up from season 1 of SBS "K-Pop Star" audition program and was signed to YG Entertainment after the show.

This record is gaining much attention because she had beat Bustker Busker, who had been a 'syndrome' for the first half of the year. Busker Busker had been at number 1 for 12 days in a row.

She also ranked number 1 on the real-time charts 11 times, making her the first female artist of the this year to hold a new record.

U.S. Billboard K-Pop 'HOT 100' chart also chose Lee Hi's debut song as the 'must see video'.

She plans to release a mini album sometime at the end of this year of the beginning of next year.
