EXID's 'Up & Down' Climbs Japanese Music Charts

After EXID released "Up & Down" in Japan, the song has been climbing up on Japanese music charts.

"Up & Down" was released online, on January 5, through Sony Music.  Since then, the song ranked 3rd on Sony Music's Recochoku Chart and 25th on MORA's international chart.

EXID, represented by Yedang Entertainment, debuted on February 16, 2012, with their single, "Holla."  The girl group terminated several months later.  However, they made a historical reversal after a fan cam video of Han performing "Up & Down" was uploaded online.   EXID have recently been considered as one of the "hottest" girl groups.  After their unexpected comeback, they ranked #1 on many music charts and music shows in Korea.

EXID's original, Korean version of "Up & Down" is now becoming more popular in Japan.

Meanwhile, EXID have stopped performing "Up & Down" and are currently working on their new album.

EXID plan to release the new album before March 2015 and do not plan to stray far from the sexy concept from "Up & Down."
