Girl group 2NE1 leader CL has completed preparations for her US debut and returned home to South Korea on Monday, according to a statement from her record label YG Entertainment.

"She first left for the states on Jan. 13 and has been working hard on her US debut for the past month," read the YG statement, released Tuesday.

"This is her second time visiting the states to work on her new album. The first time she stayed for a month and worked with Scooter Braun and met with other famous musicians. Her preparations in the states are now done." 

CL is reportedly in the final stages of completing her debut US release, completing music videos for the project.
