Rainbow To Return On February 23 With 'Innocent'

DSP Media's K-pop girl group Rainbow has confirmed their long-awaited comeback date. The seven idols will be returning on Feb. 23 with the release of their third mini album INNOCENT.

On Feb. 12, the group's comeback photos revealed a hypnotizing, dark concept. In the photos, each member had a ghostly double that was surrounded by bright lights. All of the girls were wearing black clothing and appeared to be battling a second personality. The open-for-interpretation photos have fans ceaselessly talking about possible comeback concepts.

Rainbow's last single was the happy love anthem "Sunshine." The song was released over a year ago in June 2013 and the music video featured sailor uniforms, water guns, and an endless supply of aegyo. The new photos hint that a very different Rainbow is ready to make a fierce return.

Although the Rainbow members haven't been promoting as a group recently, the idols have had various individual activities over the past year. Leader Jaekyung is a fashion magazine favorite, started a modeling career, and became a mentor on the hit beauty show Get It Beauty. Woori has been concentrating on her acting career and was recently added to the cast of the upcoming MBC weekend drama Flower of the Equator. Meanwhile, No Eul had her very first solo pictorial in the February issue of BNT International.
