Ian Somerhalder And Nikki Reed Wedding: Power Couple Wants To Invite ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Cast Except Nina Dobrev?

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's wedding will reportedly take place this year.Despite their celebrity status, the two are only yearning for an intimate ceremony with friends and family. However, as their wedding plans start to unfold, the couple reportedly came acrossa problem.

The 36-year-old actor reportedly wants to invite "The Vampire Diaries" cast members who have been close to him. After all, they have been together for six years now. However, the former "Lost" actor is allegedly confused if he would invite Nina Dobrev, the lead star of the hit CW series.

"It's a very weird predicament for Ian and Nikki," said one source to Hollywood Life. "If it is a big wedding Ian feels that he has to ask Nina to go, but anticipates her to respectfully decline. That would be a win win."

Due to such predicament, there might be changes in Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed's wedding plans. The couple is allegedly planning to host a ceremony just for their family members so they wouldn't have to invite the cast.

"They may actually dodge future awkwardness by having a very intimate wedding with just family and then they can make the excuse that they didn't invite any cast members," explained the informer.

"One thing for sure is that it is a problem they are definitely trying to figure out," added the source.

The couple remains mum about the issue. In a recent interview with People magazine, the "Twilight" actress couldn't help but gush about her fiancé.

"Honestly just the endless possibilities, you know? We have such an amazing future ahead of us and anything we put our minds to will become a reality. I'm just excited for all those possibilities," she said.

This will be Ian Somerhalder's first marriage whereas it will be the second for Nikki Reed, who was previously married to musician Paul McDonald.
