Seungri Shares First Teaser Image Of Big Bang's Comeback

The first teaser image of Big Bang from their upcoming album may have been shared early via Instagram.

Big Bang's youngest member, Seungri, shared two images of the Korean idol group on his official Instagram account on February 14. The images appear to be from the group's upcoming album, which YG Entertainment announced will be released in April 2015. This will be Big Bang's first album as a group since their last album, "Alive" and its repackage "Still Alive" in 2012.

In the two images, all five members of Big Bang - G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri- are shown together, standing upright, while wearing dark clothes. The two images show the quintet in slightly different poses, but the two pictures are nearly identical. Seungri did not share any comment on the picture, leading commentors to speculate that these are the first official images from Big Bang's upcoming album.

Big Bang's comeback has been rumored multiple times but on February 12, the CEO of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk, confirmed Big Bang's comeback. He not only spoke about the timeline of Big Bang's comeback, but also discussed the merits of the long-awaited album.

"I'm kind of nervous to say this, but yesterday, I heard new songs created by Big Bang," said Yang. "They were better than any other song created by Big Bang so far."

While Big Bang has not released music as a group since 2012, all five members pursued solo careers and several of the members released collaborations. The hip hop unit GD X Taeyang's song "Good Boy" earned over 40 million views on YouTube less than five months after being released, according to YG Entertainment's official blog.

Big Bang's album will drop in April, followed by the debut of YG Entertainment's new group iKON and comeback promotions of rookie idol group WINNER.
