This past Valentine's day, "Imitation Game" actor Benedict Cumberbatch married theater director Sophie Hunter in a small, yet romantic private ceremony. According to People Magazine, the wedding took place at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church in Mottistone, located on the Isle of Wight in England.

The Daily Mail reports that Cumberbatch took extra precautions to make his wedding ceremony as secret as possible, as roads around the village of Mottistone were cordoned off and staff at the hotel where the wedding party later celebrated were sworn to secrecy.

Nonetheless, some details got out - including the fact that Hunter is related to the Nicholson family, who live on the estate of Mottistone Manor where the wedding reception took place. Therefore, it now makes more sense that Hunter and Cumberbatch chose the small Mottitsone church for the location of their wedding ceremony.

A local said of the church, "The church is not that big ... I would say maybe 100 people maximum would fit in there. It's a beautiful setting and very old English, very quaint and pretty." Another local source revealed that no extraordinarily fancy preparations took place, stating that the couple brought in their own flowers, cake, and music for the wedding.

The overall scene of the wedding was also very low-key, with only 12 or so well-wishers gathering to watch the bride and groom arrive. Some among them were Tom Hiddleston and "Sherlock" co-star Martin Freeman, who is thought to have been Cumberbatch's best man.

Now that Cumberbatch and Hunter are married, they can better focus their attention to their future child - or shall we say "Cumberbaby." This past November, People Magazine jokingly told Cumberbatch that his fans expected "Cumberbabies." Cumberbatch replied, "Oh my God. Well, my mother is also waiting for Cumberbabies."

The New York Post confirmed Hunter's pregnancy in January, stating that Hunter was a few months along and that she and Cumberbatch are "over the moon." Congratulations to the happy couple!
