It will come as no shock that Psy's global phenomenon 'Gangnam Style' is YouTube's most-viewed video to date, but the Korean star doesn't stop there. His follow-up single "Gentleman" also made the cut.

As YouTube celebrates its tenth anniversary, the content-sharing powerhouse has released a list of the top ten most-watched videos.

The top spot was claimed by none other than Korean pop powerhouse Psy and his 2012 hit song "Gangnam Style." And with over 2.2 billion views, the catchy song and bizarre music video doubles the number of second place holder Justin Bieber and his song "Baby."

But "Gangnam Style" isn't Psy's only hit on the list. His follow-up single "Gentleman," released in April 2013, rounds out the list at number ten and nearly 800 million views.

Psy may not be the only YouTube star to make the list twice - American pop sensation Katy Perry comes in at numbers four and nine with "Dark Horse" and "Roar" respectively - but he is the only Asian artist on the list.

Psy released "Gangnam Style" in July 2012 as the title track for his sixth studio album, Psy 6 (Six Rules), Part 1. On December 21 of that year, the video became the first to surpass one billion views. The music video reached another milestone in May 2014 when it toppled over 2 billion views.

On December 1, 2014, YouTube announced that the song had "broken" the YouTube counter at 2,147,483,647 views. The company was subsequently forced to update their software to register larger numbers.

Still reeling from the popularity of "Gangnam Style," the following spring Psy tried to out-do himself with a second international single, "Gentleman." While the song may never reach the same kind of numbers as its predecessor, the video holds its own place in YouTube history.

When "Gentleman" was revealed on April 12, 2013, "Gangnam Style" had raked in 1.5 billion views, but the follow-up quickly earned praise as YouTube's record-holder for most views in the first 24 hours, most views in any 24 hour period, as well as the fastest music video to reach 100 million, 200 million, and 300 million views.
