Thai Prisoners Cover Gangnam Style!

Just one day before South Korean rap idol Psy is scheduled to bring "Gangnam Style" to Thailand, a number of inmates have peformed a dance cover to the hit song from behind the bars of a Thailand prison.

The show came to life on Tuesday for the media and corrections department executives by seventy prisoners at the Bangkok Remand Prison after competing in a "Gangnam Style" dance contest last week. Officials from the prison have stated that this program is designed to relieve the inmates' stress and allow them to get more exercise.

Psy, who has recently had to cancel his flight to Thailand due to fatigue, is set to attend the 85th birthday celebration for Thailand's king at the 'Extra Live Festival'.

"Gangnam Style" has been gaining even more attention recently as it beat out Justin Bieber's "Baby" as the most watched video on YouTube and the success of the song has brought about an onslaught of dance covers and parodies from fans all over the world.

Psy will be performing in Thailand on Wednesday night and later this week as he continues his hectic schedule of performances in Asia.
