Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquaio's fight is explosive but reportedly not as much had it happened four years ago. Amid all the hype, Amir Khan predicted that the mega-fight bout-which would gross around $400 million, with "Money" getting 60% to "Pacman's" 40%--would be a doozefest.

"I think it will be a good fight for a couple of rounds. You never know, Mayweather might get old overnight. He's shown he's getting caught more so he's not invincible," Amir Khan said to Mail Online.

While Manny Pacquiao has speed, power and explosiveness, Amir Khan claims Floyd Mayweather's defense will make it hard to hit him. That means the American boxer will retain his spotless record.

"Four years ago it would have been a massive fight because both of them were at their peak. It might have gone past that now and it's not going to be what people expect," he said.

But Amir Khan has an axe to grind since he's always been telling everybody that he's the man who can beat Floyd Mayweather.

"I really believe I have the style to give Mayweather the biggest problems. Pacquiao is good and it's a fight people want to see but the style I have would give him more problems," he said. "I'm long, I'm tall and I've got that range, speed and power, everything Mayweather hates."

ESPN reported that the mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquio will happen on May 2.

But the fight almost didn't happen because of the reported bad blood between Top Rank's Bob Arum and Floyd Mayweather. There's also the fact that the boxer is under contract with Showtime while the Filipino champion is linked with HBO.

"The networks resultingly will come together to produce and distribute a joint pay-per-view telecast, which is expected to cost a record-high $89.95 (and probably $10 more for high definition)," the sports website said.

"Giving the fans what they want to see is always my main focus," said Floyd Mayweather on the Manny Pacquiao fight. "This will be the biggest event in the history of the sport."
