2PM will hold 6-day long concert at Budokan

JYP Entertainment announced today that 2PM will hold a 6-day long concert at the Budokan arena in Japan next summer. Nippon Budokan, or Budakon, is the famous indoor arena in Tokyo that seats over 10,000 people. Considered to be the "Dream Stage," the Budokan has served as a venue for many legendary performers, such as The Beatles and now 2PM, from all over the world.

Not only would performing in this arena be a milestone in and of itself for the young Kpop group, but that they will be on the stage for a 6-day long concert is unprecedented. 2PM debuted in Japan a little over a year ago, and has since ranked number 2 on the Oricon charts. A representative of JYP states that they hope to do even better in the new year.

Following the summer concert at the Budokan, 2PM will hold its arena tour through Japan, performing in Osaka, Nagoya, Hukkaido and more. They will return to perform in Korea towards the end of 2012.
