Netflix is currently working on a "Daredevil" show and new details have been released about the project, including a new trailer.

Den of Geek released the official synopsis which states that, "the series that follows the journey of attorney Matt Murdock, who in a tragic accident was blinded as a boy but imbued with extraordinary senses. Murdock sets up practice in his old neighborhood of Hell's Kitchen, New York where he now fights against injustice as a respected lawyer by day and masked vigilante at night."

Showrunner Steven S. de Knight has previously said that his version of "Daredevil" will be much darker, saying that his version is just one bad day away from becoming something like the Punisher. He also stated that the show will be planned more like a 10-hour movie than a show. The show will be a much grittier version of the character and will likely feature organized crime leaders, not costumed villians, as the "bad guys." Particularly on Kingpin, played by Vincent D'Onofiro.

"Daredevil" Matt Murdoch character will be played by Charlie Cox. According to Variety, the rest of the cast includes Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple, Deborah Ann Wollas as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson. Other actors include Vondie Curtis Hall, Scott Glenn, Ayelet Zurer, Bob Gunton and Toby Leonard Moore.

New information about the episode titles and directors have recently leaked. The first three episodes, in order, are titled, "Into the Ring," "Cut Man," and "Rabbit in a Snowstorm." All the titles seem to be following a boxing theme.The first two episodes will be directed by Phil Abraham who has worked on "The Sopranos,""Breaking Bad," and "Mad Men." The third episode will be directed by Adam Kane, best known for his cinematography work on "The Boondock Saints."
