The evening of Asian music festivities on November 30 at MNet's Asian Music Awards 2012 in Hong Kong, the best of Asia's music industry came together to celebrate their achievements. Actor Song Seung Hun presented the awards for Best Global Group, male and female. This award defines the group that made a great global impact in K-Pop and helped spread awareness of the popular genre.

In the female category KARA received the award, and for the male category it was Super Junior. Both groups kept their speeches short and sweet, thanking their members, label, label mates, fans, and families for their unconditional love and never ending support. 

MAMA broadcasted live from the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and will be rebroadcasted on MNET America.  American fans in Southern California can relive the wonderful show at CGV's special screening of the show at the CGV Cinema in Los Angeles on December 4th.  More information on that can be found on CGV Cinemas Facebook Page.
