Girls' Generation Announce Plans To Release 1st Japanese Single As 8-Member Group

Popular Korean girl group Girls’ Generation will be releasing their first Japanese single as an eight member group this spring.

On April 22, they will drop their ninth Japanese single, Catch Me If You Can.

This is the first time in one year and seven months that the group will be releasing a new single in Japan. Their last single was ‘Galaxy Supernova’ in 2013.

The group will head to Japan at the beginning of March and begin preparing for the single.

Upon reading the news of the group’s new single, many fans revealed their excitement.

“Girls’ Generation Fighting! Can’t wait to see Sunny!” wrote Naver user znfn**** in a commented posted to the website on Wednesday.
