TVXQ’s new Japanese single has taken the number two spot on the Oricon chart.

Their new single "Sakuramichi," which released on Feb. 25, has sold 95,879 copies on the first day of its release and has ranked second on the Oricon Single Daily Chart.

Previously, their seventh Japanese album “Tree” had sold 220,000 copies in the first week of its release. They also became the first foreign artist to have three albums sell 200,000 copies within the first week of its release.

Girl group AOA was also seen on the same single daily chart at number six with their new single "Like A Cat."

They first performed this song at last year’s FNC Entertainment family concert.
