Popular group, KARA is to appear as main characters in the upcoming animation called "KARA The Animation" (working title).

The animation with the five members is to be released early next year in Japan. It will also air in the first half of next year in Korea, through various channels including major cable channels. 

Each member of KARA will be a main character on this show, and it will tell various stories. Each character will have each of the member's individual personalities and images, and fans will be able to see the group in animation form. The members will all contribute in voice dubbing for their own characters, and they will participate in singing the original theme song. 

 Even before it was known that the program is to air, fans showed great interest and made it a topic of interest. The producers of the animation said, "This animation will be a 'sweet story' that matches the meaning of Kara, which means 'sweet melody.' It will be a show that will satisfy fans and viewers."

Meanwhile, more information about "Kara The Animation" will be given on January 6th, in Japan, during Karasia 2013 Happy New Year In Tokyo Dome.
