American Horror Story Season 5 Casting: Lady Gaga will be making her television series debut on next season's "American Horror Story." FX announced that the season will be called "Hotel," but didn't give any other details. But we know Lady Gaga will be perfect for the role, after all, she was "Born This Way."

"I am so excited to be a part of American Horror Story's hardworking cast. A twisted fantasy. My favorite kind,' Lady Gaga posted to her 44.6 million Twitter followers. 

FX announced that Lady Gaga signed on to star in American Horror Story season 5 on Wednesday, Feb. 25. No details about Lady Gaga's character have been revealed. American Horror Story season 5 will be a 13-episode arc.

Glamour Magazine predicted American Horror Story Season 5 will take place in either the Garden of Allah, the Cecil Hotel, or the World's Fair Hotel. Jessica Lange's character mentioned The Garden of Allah in an earlier season. Denis O'Hare's character Stanley yelled "I do know people in Los Angeles. My cousin works at the Garden of Allah" before his character was killed off.

Lady Gaga appeared in 2013's "Machete Kills" and "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For."

Lady Gaga recently announced that she is getting married to actor Taylor Kinney, who stars in NBC's "Chicago Fire."

Gaga is not the first musician to be featured on "American Horror Story," Stevie Nicks was conjured by the dark witches of Salem, who had relocated to New Orleans. Nicks made her acting debut as a willowy witch who was emulated by a woodsy wiccan.

With Lady Gaga checking bags at American Horror Story's "Hotel," some magazines are speculating that next season may be an all-out musical. Jessica Lange often sang during her tenure, but Gaga is a little better known for it.

Ryan Murphy's FX show, are horror-based. The Shining's Overlook Hotel, the Bates Motel, etc. And fans of the show have been busy speculating about what the hotel setting could mean for Season 5. Based off a few references last year, many have concluded that the most important point of reference here is the Garden of Allah, a famous old hotel on the Hollywood Strip. In last season's episode "Show Stoppers,"

Production is expected to start in July. American Horror Story Season 5 will premiere during Halloween season, in October. There is no word yet on whether Jessica Lange will return.
