TVXQ Take Home 5 Awards At Japan's Golden Disk Awards For 2nd Consecutive Year

Group TVXQ has won five awards at Japan’s Golden Disk Awards for the second year in a row.

On Monday, the Golden Disk website revealed that TVXQ had won the ‘Best Asian Artist’ award, ‘Album Of The Year’ award, ‘Best Music Video’ award, ‘Best 3 Albums’ award and the ‘Downloaded Song Of The Year’ award for a total of five trophies.

Last year, they also had the honor of taking home five trophies as well.

The 29th Annual Golden Disk Awards is held by the Japanese Record Association. This award ceremony recognizes artists that made an impact throughout the year and also rank according to album and video sales.

Their album, Time, released last year, won ‘Best 3 Albums’ and ‘Album of the Year’.

Their Live Tour 2013~Time~ was chosen as ‘Best Music Video’ and their “Catch Me-If You Wanna” was selected as the ‘Downloaded Song Of The Year’.

TVXQ is currently on their Japanese five dome tour, TVXQ Live Tour 2015~WITH~, and will head to Osaka’s Kyocera Dome on March 13-15 and March 17-19.
