#ExoLWantTaeyeonDead Hashtag Causes Friction Between EXO, Girls' Generation And Jessica Jung Fans

The power of K-pop fans is well known, and this time Girls' Generation and EXO have been pitted against each other on social media.

Recently, the hashtag #ExoLWantTaeyeonDead has become a trending topic. The immediate reactions between EXO fans and Girls' Generation fans have caused heated discussions to erupt on Twitter. However, many users allege that the hashtag could be traced back to fans of former Girls' Generation member Jessica Jung.

Last fall, both Jessica and SM Entertainment announced the news that Girls' Generation would be continuing without the 25-year-old singer. Since then, Jessica has conducted activities for her fashion brand BLANC & ECLARE and has been rumored to be working on solo musical projects.

"I always miss my fans," said Jung to Woman Sense magazine. "Fans are like my family. Having gone through a lot, my bond with my fans has become stronger."

Jessica also promised supporters that she will return to the stage once again.

"Rather than missing it, I'm excited," she said according to allkpop. "There will be a lot of opportunities to stand on stage in the future."

Meanwhile, rumors regarding both Girls' Generation and EXO's comeback this year have been circulating.

"The new album and concept have not been arranged in detail yet," said an SM rep to Star News regarding EXO's comeback.

"The members are working hard to prepare the album to show a variety of images."

Allegedly, the EXO's comeback track is rumored to be "Call Me Daddy." The rumor surfaced after fans spotted EXO in the credits for MSA Agency's creative directors and choreographers Napoleon and Tabitha Dumo's list of credits.
