Another all new episode of popular anime series "Tokyo Ghoul" season two "Root A" is now streaming online. Episode 9 entitled "City In Waiting" was streamed to fans outside of Japan courtesy of Funimation. For those without subscriptions however, below are two links to websites where episodes of "Tokyo Ghoul" season two are streaming for free online.

Synopsis:

This week's episode begins with Takizawa struggling to write a testamentary note in case he should fall during a large scale attack to take down the Owl. It appears the entire CCG will participate. Akira and Amon visit the graves of a few people that have previously died at the hands of ghouls. Akira vows to get revenge for her father.

Akira tries to kiss Amon but he stops her.

Kaneki sees the news about the operation against Anteiku. The CCG members gather and prepare for their attack. Ghoul teams for the Black Dog and The Devil Ape show up and destroy a few waves of the CCG.

Finally the Owl makes an appearance. Meanwhile, Touka shows up to help the Anteiku, only to be told by Yomo that it's over. Yomo tells Touka that they chose their path in fighting because they believed they deserved to be punished. Touka laments that it seems they are all going away.

Nishio runs into Kaneki. He informs Kaneki that Touka and Hinami are safe from the fighting. Nishio says that he will run away after seeing Kimi one last time. Tsukiyama arrives on the roof and goes a bit crazy stating that unless he can eat him, no one can. He begs Kaneki not to fight so that he can survive.

Kaneki refuses, and says that he can no longer stand on the sidelines.
