Swiss Tourism Board Names Super Junior Members Leeteuk, Ryeowook, And Kyuhyun As Travel Ambassadors

Switzerland has recruited three Super Junior members - leader Leeteuk, Ryeowook and Kyuhyun - to serve as their travel ambassadors for this year,

The Swiss tourism board, which decided on the selection, has anointed the idol trio as "Swiss Friends" and their first call of promotions duty was for the Switzerland Travel Experience fair, reports allkpop. They were apparently chosen for their strong visibility not only as popular idols but also as actors, musical actors and MCs.

Fans can look forward to many more Swiss-related activities for the members since they will be serving as travel ambassadors for a full year until 2016. They are already scheduled to take part in the Grand Tour of Switzerland, a breathtaking travel tour of the country going through 1000 miles, over five Alpine passes, 22 lakes and 11 UNESCO World Heritage Sites - talk about an experience!

The Grand Tour of Switzerland is one of the marquee travel tours in the country and a major tourist draw, and further promotion by the Super Junior members should further increase interest for the tour.

The tourism board confirmed that the members will go beyond taking photo ops; the trio will really drive through the designated tour to see the sights and take in the beauty of Switzerland.

It has not been revealed when exactly the three members will take another Grand Tour or referring to the trip the trio made in Switzerland back in late 2014, but a new tour will have to be squeezed between the trio's hectic schedules.

Ryeowook, for instance, is hosting a new talk show, and is also scheduled for a comeback in 2015 with Kyuhyun and enlistment returning member Yesung for their subgroup, K.R.Y.

A picture of Leeteuk and his Super Junior group mates Donghae and Eunhyuk photobombing tourists in Switzerland went viral last year.
