SM Rookies Hit The Spotlight With New Dance Performance Video

SM Entertainment is highlighting the superb dancing skills of its SM Rookies through a new dance performance video from its pre-debut squad SR15B.

The video begins by showing the SR15B members - Johnny, Hansol, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun and Ten - before all six members break into a complicated and synchronized choreography by Japanese street dance group S**tkingz.

The members looked cool and polished while grooving to the up tempo song and wearing hip, black-and-white street fashion. The group performed on a rooftop with glass building serving as a backdrop.

Most fans were impressed with the dance, gushing on YouTube the video was posted: "Can someone pick up my jaw. Cuz I dropped it," "Awesome dancing!" and "I will wait for their debut."

That last comment in particular is of interest to fans who are wondering whether SR15B or any other SM Rookies will be debuting this year. A financial analyst has predicted that SM Entertainment would be debuting at least two groups this year, most likely a boy group to bolster its competitiveness as other agencies launch younger, fresh-faced boy groups.

With this latest dance performance video, it seems SM Entertainment is building up awareness and a fan base for its pre-debut members and help them off to a popular start should it decide to officially launch them.

The agency has also been increasing the media exposure of SM Rookies as part of its pre-debut groundwork. For example, Jaehyun (who was in the video) and another rookie Doyoung became the hosts for the fourth season of Show Champion.

What did you think of the dance and its members? Do you already have a favorite among these rookies?
