f(x)’s Luna Takes 'Jumping Girl' Role Alongside Block B Members U-Kwon And B-Bomb

Three more idols are expanding their repertoire to include web drama acting, with f(x) member Luna and Block B members U-Kwon and B-bomb headlining the web drama Jumping Girl.

Luna has been confirmed as the female lead and will play the character of Nam Sang Ah, described as a career woman that suffers through a public witch hunt by mistake, according to Koreaboo.

U-Kwon will play as Luna's friend, the elementary school teacher Han Ga Eul, while B-bomb has a more familiar role of an idol, Seo Ah Shin, but with some secrets and quirks. Filming is slated to start on March 10.

An initial batch of seven 15-minute episodes will be filmed and aired online in April through Daum Kakao TV, reports allkpop. There has been no confirmed release date as of yet, or confirmation on how frequently the episodes will be released each week.

Jumping Girl can be considered to be major acting credits for all three idols. While Luna has acted in three musicals before, most recently in the lead role of Gabriella Montez in the South Korean production of High School Musical, and appeared in TV Chosun's weekend drama Saving Ahjumma Goo Bong Sil, this is her first time headlining a drama. In the same vein, B-bomb and U-Kwon have only had cameo appearances in dramas or MC gigs, respectively.

Luna fans who want to see more of her beyond the pages of magazines like in her recent mesmerizing photo shoot for BNT International and sexier spread for Grazia should be thrilled about her new show. Will you be watching Jumping Girl?
