Eric Nam Hints At Hollywood Expansion With Upcoming Movie Role

Solo artist, television host and Birth of a Great Star 2 alumni Eric Nam will soon add Hollywood actor to his resume.

In an interview last week for SBS Power FM's Cultwo Show, the multi-talented singer teased that he has been cast in a bit role for a Hollywood film when he flew to the United States

"I might have not been cast for that movie, but when I recently visited the U.S., another movie recruited me. I can't say which movie it is or what role I play, but I am currently working with several commercialized celebrities. Though I may play a small role, it is a good film," he was reported to have said in the interview, according to a translation fromSoompi.

He also shrugged off a failed audition for another film after having been picked as one of the final candidates for the role.

"I didn't get the role. It was a twin role, but unfortunately, my other twin was cast as a Caucasian. Obviously it wouldn't work out."

This is good news for US fans of Eric Nam that have been disappointed when the singer postponed his tour. As of the latest update on March 5 at WME Radio, which is working with B2M Entertainment on the stateside tour, the re-schedule could be pushed back as far as May given the singer's comeback promotions for the song "It's Okay, It's Okay".

"As Eric is having a comeback right now, we will need to consider his promotion schedules. On our side, we are hoping to have the tour go on in May before finals and summer break."
