TVXQ Join Lineup For Korea Times Music Festival In L.A.

SM Entertainment is sending their popular duo act TVXQ to Los Angeles to perform in the annual Korea Times Music Festival, reports Korea Times. The festival will be held on May 2 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, California.

Changmin and Yunho is so far the only male group to confirm their attendance to the event. Other confirmed attendees include girl groups A Pink and EXID, solo artist and former S.E.S. lead vocal Bada, actor Oh Seung Geun, and tenor Im Tae Kyung, according to the line-up list posted on the The Korea Times Music Festival event page where tickets are also available.

The selection of TVXQ and other veteran artists was not random - Korea Times said that it intends "to invite artists that are reflective of all generations."

Festival goers can expect to "enjoy the best ensemble of contemporary Korean music from traditional trot singers to teenage idol groups along with spectacular fireworks."

"The Korea Time Music Festival provides a night of harmony that is often difficult to achieve among generations. It is the perfect night to bring the family together for a night that the whole family can enjoy," the event was further described.

The appearance will likely be nostalgic for Changmin and Yunho as this will be their third-ever appearance in the Korea Times Music Festival. They also attended the festival back in 2008 and 2004 as part of the then-five member TVXQ. The three former members - Junsu, Jaejoong and Yoochun - departed from TVXQ back in 2010, resulting in the current duo configuration.

With roughly two more months to go before the event, more artists could still make it to the final line-up. In 2014, for example, the festival had a larger list of performers, including EXO-M, 2AM, Crayon Pop, Dal Shabet, Ulala Session, Insooni, B1A4, Kim Jong Seo, Shim Soobong and Jung Dongha.
