Bruce Jenner Sex Change Reality Show On Hold Until Christmas 2015? ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Patriarch Concerned About Family’s Adjustment To His 'Transition'
Bruce Jenner's much publicized sex change reality show will reportedly be put on hold until Christmas 2015, said a report from Hollywood Life. According to the feature, the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" patriarch is concerned about his family's adjustment in line with his rumored transition into a woman.
Instead of airing this May or June as previously reported, Bruce Jenner's sex change reality show will supposedly air during holiday season later this year.
"A show detailing his transformation is happening but he wants it later in the year," an insider revealed.
"He thinks that Christmas is a good time because Christmas is all about family and he really wants it to be a family affair."
The former Olympian reportedly wants to prioritize his family "before he makes any more decisions about moving forward with a new TV show," a source said.
Bruce Jenner is allegedly eager for his children's blessing with regard to his sex change and reality show.
"He is really fighting for his kids' blessing on the entire process," the source shared.
"It's been a long time coming that Bruce has wanted to do this, but his kids well-being and psychological welfare is also very, very important to him."
"So before he makes any more decisions moving forward with a new TV show, he wants things at home to work out and be as normal as possible," the source explained.
On the other hand, a recent report from USA Today revealed that it seems Bruce Jenner might not even have a sex change reality show in the works.
According to "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" producer Jeff Jenkins, the 65-year-old's appearance on the hit series' 10th season is all that they know about with regard to him being on a reality show.
"You will see Bruce on Season 10 and beyond that, he is in Season 10.He's in all the way to the very end of it," Jeff Jenkins said.
"Beyond that, there is, to my knowledge, no series in production that, as we said, is its own series."
"That's really the current situation. As of right now, there's no 'Keeping Up with Bruce Jenner,'" the producer added.
