Girl group T-ARA, as well as SISTAR and other artists, will be performing at the Sultan’s Coronation celebrations in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

On Monday, the coronation of Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar was held at the Istana Besar Johor. He will be the state’s fifth Sultan in the history of Modern Johor. This day has also been chosen as a public holiday in Johor.

There will also be many concerts and musical theaters from Monday to next week to celebrate the coronation ceremony.

This four day outdoor concert will be at Danga Bay and are expecting around 50,000 people to attend the concert. Both local and international artists will be performing at this event.

Girl group SISTAR will be performing on Thursday and T-ARA on Sunday.

T-ARA is expected to be the main act for this event and has prepared 10 of their hit songs to perform.

“T-ARA’s songs have received much love here in Malaysia and so we have decided to have them perform almost a mini concert here through this event,” said an organizer of the coronation ceremony posted on OSEN on Thursday.
