K-Pop Crossover: The Fooo Conspiracy's Dance Challenge Toward EXO Garners Harsh Criticisms From EXO-L Members

Comparing yourself to one of K-pop's biggest boy bands is risky, and The Fooo Conspiracy is feeling the backlash once again for comparing their dancing skills to that of EXO.

On March 16, Yapert uploaded an interview with Swedish boy band The Fooo Conspiracy, where the four members were asked who would in a dance battle between them and EXO.

"I mean, we got to be nice, so I would EXO," said The Fooo Conspiracy's Felix Sandman. "Because they're like 20 and we're four."

Soon, Oscar Enestad raised a challenge to the K-pop group.

"Do you accept the challenge?" he asked. "Call us."

Previously, The Fooo Conspiracy was accused to plagiarizing EXO's choreography to "Growl" by EXO-L members (the official fanclub for EXO). The former later confirmed EXO's inspiration online, but did not acknowledge the claims.

Consequently, most of the videos pertaining to The Fooo Conspiracy have been hit with dislikes and negative comments from EXO fans.

"You can challenge EXO only by releasing a good album, offering an original choreography, offering a music video that hits 50 million views and become more successful than they are," wrote YouTube viewer Dana2CMDB.

"You are not even their competitors, so you cannot have this honor and 'battle' with them. Get in line first, there are many others in front of you. Do you want to battle? Show what you can through music!"

Currently, EXO is preparing to release the album "Exodus" on March 30. According to allkpop, the album will include 10 tracks, including the group's comeback single "Call Me Baby."
