EXO's 'Call Me Baby' Music Video Hits 4 Million Combined Views In 12 Hours

EXO's latest comeback album, "Exodus," seems to have produced more monster YouTube hits!

SM Entertainment dropped two music videos for Exodus title track "Call Me Baby" - one each for the Korean and Chinese versions of the song - and they have reached a combined 4 million views on YouTube within 12 hours of uploads.

The "Call Me Baby" Korean version now has 2.7 million views and rising by hundreds of thousands by the hour. Meanwhile, the "Call Me Baby" Chinese version stands at 1.5 million views. Both videos were uploaded almost at the same time at around 23:00 EST on March 30.

Both "Call Me Baby" MVs have virtually the same choreography and shot sequences, but different members are highlighted based on their singing parts. The Korean version, for example, shows Chanyeol and Sehun in the rap break while the Chinese version shows Tao and Xiumin.

EXO has previously done a similar stylistic treatment of simply switching out members in the versions like in their recent "Overdose" music videos.

The popularity of "Call Me Baby" music video has been driven by the fact that the Exodus tracks, including "Call Me Baby", were already available to listen on YouTube albeit through unofficial uploads by fans.

The music video also drew in fans for the song's catchy beat, intricate dance choreography and stylish fashion. The EXO boys also looked great with new hairstyles and hair color, like Kai oozing sex appeal with his shaggy 'do, Chanyeol switching it up with grayish locks and Xiumin rocking the man bun.
