On March 31, Yewon's agency, Star Empire, gave an official apology to Lee Tae Im.  "We relied only on context and were quick to express our position," they said through a press release.

Lee Tae Im has been receiving much criticism after an incident occurred during the filming of the reality show, My Tutor Friend.  It was reported that Lee Tae Im cursed at Yewon and Yewon publicly forgave Lee Tae Im.

However, a footage of the incident was released by an anonymous source shortly after Lee Tae Im's career was reaching its end.  The footage showed that Yewon showed disrespect towards Lee Tae Im first.  This turned the tables and revealed that Yewon was not as innocent and kind as she had been portrayed.  

"We did not hear the correct facts from Yewon.  We relied only on what a witness reported from the incident, and it is our fault for being quick to express our position," said Star Empire.  "We made a decision with our surrounding atmosphere and handled the situation rashly.  Because of this Yewon and Lee Tae Im received damage.  We deeply apologize.  In the future, we will try to be more careful with such sensitive areas."

"We promise to do our best to help Yewon grow more mature after this incident," Star Empire continued.  "We were preoccupied and hope that you understand our late apology.  Once again, we apologize with out heads bowed to those of you have love Lee Tae Im and Yewon."
