January Frenzy!: Comeback and Debut Overview

2013 is set on fire with numerous of comebacks and debuts that are confirmed and rumored.

In the month of January alone, the big names in the 'Hallyu Wave' are coming to take over the charts.

From the start of the year, it's obvious SM Entertainment's notorious girl group, Girls' Generation, has exploded with their fourth album comeback grasping the attention to a worldwide appeal across the Internet. With millions of views on the music video on Youtube - in less than a week of the album release.

Days later, LOEN Entertainment, released Jea's (leader of four-member group: Brown Eyed Girls) first solo album. Being the last of her group to go solo it's a big deal seeing she is the main vocalist and respected by peers for her vocal abilities.

For her solo debut, she has collaborated with the production team, 015B (also worked with solo artists such as IU and fellow Brown Eyed Girl member, GaIn) on her title track (trans.) "While You Were You Sleeping."

On the radar for the rest of the month, Woollim Entertainment, is going to debut their first sub-unit: Infinite H with the single, "Fly High."

The unit is composed of the two rappers and dancers of the company's group: Infinite's members Jang Dongwoo and Hoya (Lee Howon).

Other companies are following the same tactic and forming sub-units.

SM Entertainment is also going to promote Super Junior's vocalists: Kim Yesung, Kim Ryewook and Cho Kyuhyun to form Super Junior KRY. The sub-group is very familiar to the fan base through concerts but the group hasn't made their official debut to the public.

Cube Entertainment is going to release another sub-unit, Double Yoon, composed of 4minute members: Gayoon and Jiyoon.

Starship Entertainment's flower boy group, Boyfriend, is making another comeback again very shortly from their previous comeback and release of their first full album, Janus, so be on the look-out for these dashing boys becoming mature men.

Labelmate sub-unit, SISTAR19 (Hyorin and Bora), are making a comeback since their popular single, "Ma Boy," released back in 2011.

CNBLUE (FNC Entertainment) is making their comeback as well.

After their countless of drama activities, and tours (internationally); leader of CNBLUE, Jung Yonghwa is working hard for their strong comeback release for the start of this year.

In terms of the rookies list this year; the list is getting bigger and bigger.

On the radar for this year is Seventeen. From their name, the group from PLEDIS Entertainment is releasing a seventeen-member boy group. Many are familiar of this group's unsure plans with the risky number of members in a group. Will the number of members hinder the fair distribution of song lines and spot line?

Another that is rumored /definite is YG Entertainment's second girl group, Su Pearls. It's much vague of the girls' true debut date but they have been the talk when YG released a video of the potential female trainees that will be in the group. As well as Big Bang's leader, G-Dragon, who included the vocals of one of the members in his popular solo album, One of a Kind. A question that internet users ask is, "Will they try to prevent to be overshadowed by their seniors (2NE1) in the company?" Let's hope not.

As of right now, some of the information is still rumored and no doubt there are more artists on the list for this month and year. Some mentioned are already obvious to the public but even so; it's best to keep on your toes for any of your favorite groups, soloists and upcoming rookies that are going to make to their coming stages!

Are there any artists that you're excited for this month?
