Most Memorable 'Gangnam Style' Parody Raises £3,000 for Child with Neuromuscular Disabilities

A video of police officers horse dancing around various locations in their city may not be the most memorable parody of Psy's "Gangnam Style" on YouTube. However, it sure is the most meaningful.

The Devon and Cornwall Police in Falmouth, England, raised thousands of pounds for a disabled boy after their "Gangnam Style" spoof went viral earlier this month. According to reports, the video has been viewed about 50,000 times, and people from all around the world have donated more than 3,000 pounds.

All the proceeds will go to 12-year-old Josh Wilson, who suffers from severe neuromuscular disabilities. The family is now just 5,000 pounds away from their 25,000-pound target, the cost of building Josh a fully adapted home.

"We are absolutely overwhelmed with the positive response from the public," said Sergeant Gary Watts, the officer who convinced his colleagues to make the video. "Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, and watched and shared the video so far."
