5 Best-Dressed Male Characters In Korean Dramas

Last week we rounded up our favorite fashionistas in the K-drama realm, now it's time to focus our attention on the men who aced the style department in their respective drama series.

Kim Woo Bin as Choi Young Do in "The Heirs"

Even when he's drenched in water, washing dishes, or being his suave young chaebol self Choi Young Do is smooth as silk and cool as ice. Aside from his killer looks and suave personality, Choi Young Do's fashion is on point. His style is both youthful and mature, matching is rich kid personality and bad boy image. He looks absolutely great wearing chinos, slacks, and suits without making the corporate look seem old and dull.

Jo In Sung as Jang Jae Yeol in "It's Okay, That's Love"

Jang Jae Yeol's style somewhat deviates from the typical "male lead" fashion. True to his personality, Jang Jae Yeol's daily wear is somewhat unconventional but it works for him. It's very laidback and relaxing. While other male leads are strutting in suits and shiny leather oxfords, Jang Jae Yeol prefers a lose polo shirt on top of washed-out denims. Plus, he can rock a good pair of Birkenstocks!

Rain as Lee Hyun Wook in "My Lovely Girl"

Lee Hyun Wook's style is probably not that different from Rain's typical wear. And that's no surprise because Rain is basically playing a character close to real life. Being a successful singer, songwriter, and producer Lee Hyun Wook wears a variety of outfits from corporate to casual. And while Lee Hyun Wook's style might look the same as those of other guys in drama series what makes him a standout is that he fits his outfits so well-literally and figuratively. (Hint: Rain has that chiseled bod, remember?)

Kim Soo Hyun as Do Min Joon "My Love From The Star"

Do Min Joon and Cheon Song Yi are a match made in fashion heaven. Although Cheon Song Yi is a fashion knockout with her impeccable style choices and good eye for anything designer, Cheon Song Yi quieter and more subtle style is also a standout on its own. Do Min Joon teaches at a university, and with a professor as hot and fashion-savvy as him we're sure none of his female students skipped class. At home, however, Do Min Joon style is more comfortable and casual and he is usually seen sporting chic pullovers and cardigans.

Kim Jae Joong as Jang Dong Chul in "Triangle"

Jang Dong Chul is a good example of the fact that being in the middle class of society is no reason not to dress up well. Jang Dong Chul is living the thug life, but he still looks as good as the ideal leather jacket-clad bad boy. He later ups his style and trades his baggy jeans and leather jackets for suits and classy long sleeve buttondowns when he climbs the ranks and becomes the leader of his own gang. This is somewhat a Cinderella story in the style department, only Jang Dong Chul's pre-fairy godmother getups still deserve an A grade.
