Shop: 6 Must-Have K-Pop Style Backpacks

By Elsa B. | April 11, 2015 08:56 PM EDT

The backpack is making its way from the university campus to the workplace office. The bag often affiliated with mountains of textbooks, messy term papers and frenzied tardiness, is getting a makeover thanks to designer brands such as Marc Jacobs and Chanel. Now, international retailers are taking notice and re-imagining the bag as a more professional accessory.

Backpacks are now a stylish travel must-have, not just a necessity. Instead of slipping your laptop only into its designated case, why not keep it safer inside a larger bag? Why carry folders in your hand so you can use a chic but far-too-small clutch at work? Backpacks aren't juvenile, they're practical, roomy and the less-likely-to-get-stolen-at-the-subway choice.
