Will You Tune in to Watch Seung-ri's(Big Bang) New Japanese Drama to Air on SBS Plus?

2012 was a huge year for Big Bang. They enjoyed phenomenal success with their mini-album Alive and embarked on their first world tour, traveling to four continents, 13 countries and 21 cities throughout the year.

It seems like success will continue to follow Big Bang's youngest member Seung-ri in 2013, for it was recently announced that SBS Plus, a Korean cable channel, will air his Japanese drama Kindaichi, Case Files: Hong Kong Murder Case for the first time on Sunday.

Kindaichi, which is based on the Japanese manga (or comic) from 1992, boasts a star-studded cast, including Japan's Ryosuke Yamada and Taiwan's We Chun, two of Asia's hottest idol singers.

The plot revolves around Hajime Kindaichi, a high school student and grandson of a famous (fictional) private detective - kind of like an Asian Sherlock Holmes. All members of the family have a talent for solving crime. Seung-ri plays a Korean student living in Hong Kong who becomes a suspect in a murder case. The murder occurred at the hotel where he works.
