No need to worry, Big Bang fans. YG Entertainment has assured that the group's comeback will likely push through without a hitch despite news that Taeyang has sustained an ankle injury.

On April 13, Taeyang was reported to have injured his ankle while he was preparing for the impending Big Bang comeback.

Taeyang's injury raised concerns that Big Bang would need to push back their activities while waiting for his recovery, but YG Entertainment has stated that the injury is relatively minor and is not expected to delay the group's activities such as their scheduled comeback and world tour, reports Koreaboo.

"During an scheduled activity in the U.S, Taeyang injured his ankle, but it′s almost healed now. It won′t affect any future activities and won′t cause problems," YG Entertaiment told Newsen on April 13.

It is not clear when and how the injury was sustained, but when the group flew stateside earlier this month to Los Angeles to film their new music video, Taeyang was seen in a wheelchair while with fellow bandmate G-Dragon pushing him around. Despite the injury, the idol could be seen in good spirits, smiling and wearing stylish clothes.

Taeyang's injury can be seen as minor speed bump in an otherwise successful year so far, having successfully finished his solo world tour, Rise, in March after traveling to perform across eight countries, 18 cities and before 120,000 fans.

This year, he rejoins Big Bang as the group releases their much-awaited first comeback album in three years since Alive was released in 2012.

Excitement is building up for the Big Bang world tour with news that YG Entertainment has contracted the production crew behind Beyonce and Jay-Z's On The Run tour to help "present the best-quality stage to fans," said one insider.

Big Bang will kick off their 2015 World Tour in Seoul on April 25 and 26 shortly before dropping what is expected to be a new single on May 1.
