Carrie Underwood News: 'Something In The Water' Singer Speaks Up About Natural Beauty; New Mom Recalls Her ‘American Idol’ Look

Carrie Underwood news reported how the "Something in the Water" singer spoke up about natural beauty. According to a report from Christian Today, the new mom also recalled her look back when she first joined "American Idol."

"I tend to have a natural curl in my hair anyway, but not a whole lot," the country star said.

"When I was in college I would put a lot of product in my hair and force it to be curly. And I definitely did that my first Idol audition!"

"I call it my 'crunchy' hair... That I might like to undo if I could," Carrie Underwood joked to news publications.

The Grammy winner then went on to explain how it is important to exude natural beauty and positivity.

"It's all about being confident, keeping things uncomplicated and fresh and pretty, bringing out that natural beauty that I believe every woman possesses," she explained.

"You know, there's something about everybody that's like no other and is absolutely gorgeous and it's all about enhancing that."

Carrie Underwood made news earlier this year when she delivered baby Isaiah, her son with husband and NHL star Mike Fisher. She then shared how she is able to stay slim after the pregnancy by keeping herself hydrated.

"Water is something that is so important, not just for a beauty routine but for keeping yourself energised and making sure your body is working the way that it should," she said.

Related Carrie Underwood news from UnrealityTV also revealed how the first-time mom is planning to come out with songs for her baby for her fifth studio album.

"I just kind of feel a little sad 'cause all my songs are about having girls," Carrie Underwood shared, referring to her hits such as "Mama's Song," "All-American Girl," "Blown Away," and "Forever Changed."

"Like, little boy baby Fisher's got nothin'! Even 'Forever Changed,' which is one of my favorite songs, is definitely like a mother-daughter kind of a song, so... I'm gonna have to get on that," she said.
