SHINee's Jonghyun must be smiling at the sweet gesture his fans made on his behalf to protect animals on Earth.

The Coexistence of Animal Rights on Earth (CARE) thanked Jonghyun's fan alliance for donating to their cause, which the group has dedicated as a present for Jonghyun's birthday.

Jonghyun celebrated his 25th birthday (American age) last week, having been born on April 8, 1990.

"We received a generous patronage from 'Kim Jong Hyun's Fan Alliance,'" said CARE, reports Allkpop.

The fan alliance apparently gave food, urine pads and snacks for abandoned animals living in CARE's center.

"We thank SHINee's Jonghyun and the 'Kim Jong Hyun's Fan Alliance' for their generous support. We hope that Jonghyun's concert in May will be a success and plan to keep supporting him in the future."

Jonghyun along with the rest of SHINee have a hectic few months ahead with the SHINee World Concert IV in Seoul slated for May 16 to 17. The concert will be held at the Olympic Park Stadium and is rumored to serve as a launch pad for a new album release.

"We are in the midst of preparations. As it has been a while since our last Korean album, and we are also excited. We don't want to disappoint our fans, so we are hard for the album. We'll return by the end of the year," said Minho in a previous press conference announcing the concerts.

Jonghyun has also just finished a grueling promotions schedule with SHINee last month which included performances in Music Bank World Tour Concert in Vietnam and the 2015 F1 Malaysia Grand Prix After-Race Concert, so the news of his fans' generosity and kindnesss should give him inspiration to keep working harder.
