Movie fans, listen up!

Disney has just released the dates of some of its most anticipated films of 2014 and 2015. Maleficent, starring Angelina Jolie as the Sleeping Beauty villain, will be released on July 2, 2014, not March 14 as it was previously reported, to prevent its own movies from competing at the box office. The Muppets 2, starring Ricky Gervais and Ty Burrell, is schedule to open on March 21. Tiny Fey is currently in talks to join the cast.

Disney also confirmed that MARVEL will release Captain America: The Winter Solider on April 4 and Guardians of the Galaxy on August 1. And on December 19, Brad Bird's science fiction mystery 1952, starring George Clooney, will be released. The script has been kept under pretty tight wraps, however with Clooney and Bird attached to the project, expectations are high. Bird, an A-list filmmaker, previously directed The Incredibles, Ratatouille, and Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.  

July 10, 2015 should also be an exciting day for moviegoers, especially if you love Jack Sparrow. Disney will release the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film. Johnny Depp will reprise his role as the cunning pirate captain.
