EXO’s Lay Criticized By Fans For Solo Activities In China During 2015 Group Comeback

More and more these days it seems K-Pop artists are being forced to deal with somewhat vicious attacks against them on the internet. In fact, things became particularly difficult for Super Junior's Leeteuk, who has threatened legal action against those Netizens making statements against his family in light of his recent personal tragedy.

While most EXO-Ls are merely happy to see their favorite group return, others have begun to criticize certain members for inappropriate behavior that is not conducive to the group. First Chanyeol came under fire for some jokes he made about his fellow group members, and now Lay is under critical eye for allegedly focusing too much on his solo career in China while the group is amid a comeback.

"Many criticize his attitude and lack of attendance at EXO's group schedules in order to further his personal profit while the group is in the middle of group promotions," wrote a fan on Pann (via Koreaboo).

In an extensive post, a fan outlined the various evidence against Lay. The evidence mostly pertains to his insistence on having his own personal agency in China during their most recent comeback, and certain statements he's made in a recent interview that seem to point to his inclusion in EXO as obligatory rather than enjoyable.

So far, the post is extremely popular with several thousand views and replies from those both agreeing and disagreeing about Lay's recent activities. Despite Lay making several statements showing his support for EXO, it would appear that others do not believe him. Fans can read the entire English translation of the post from Pann on Koreaboo.

EXO recently released their second full length album entitled "Exodus." The title track for the album is "Call Me Baby."
