eSNa Cleverly Updates Lyrics For 'AHH OOP' In Response To Online Bullies

Singer-songwriter eSNa has always been an active presence on YouTube, but she is gaining more attention lately with the help of MAMAMOO's recent release, "AHH OOP!".

By adding her sassy delivery to her RainbowBridge Agency (in conjunction with WA Entertainment) label mate's song, the Korean-American singer helps brighten the colors MAMAMOO wants its fans to experience. It's a long time coming from just being a young YouTube personality who uploaded songs.

eSNa's appearances in both the music video and April 3rd performance on KBS Music Bank, however, are gaining a lot of negative. Is it because of her singing? Not at all--the negative attention is about her looks.

Since the release of "AHH OOP!" some online users have taunted eSNa with statements about her physical appearance. Some have even taken to calling her ahjumma (middle-aged or older lady) and pig. Others made mention about how much singing time she had in comparison to the girl group. The performer stayed quiet about the negative uproar until April 9th, when she released a parody of the track entitled "AHH SH*T!"

The track packs a solid punch as eSNa boldly moves from Korean to English to get her point across to the haters. She creatively uses her pen as a sword to take out all the negative talk.

"Thought I wouldn't have anything to say? Well listen to the Queen," she begins. "Everywhere I go I get the feeling, that buring attention. I'm not pretty, I'm charming. I don't have much more to say than that."

But she did, in fact, have more to say - a lot more. "There's something you don't know, but this song was mine from the start," she continues. "Not a MAMAMOO comeback, but an eSNa collaboration."

"So ridiculous, but I'll be understanding," she playfully adds. "Just because I don't do this one song, doesn't mean my future will be unclear, I've got the pipes to prove it!"

The rest of the track sends a fairly clear message to all the online haters and calls on women everywhere to love themselves despite what others might say or do.

"All my ladies out there, you're beautiful just the way you are," eSNa exclaims.

A prolific singer and songwriter, eSNa is also well-versed in the production side of music. In fact, her biggest claim to fame was assisting with the lyrics and music for last year's mega hit "Some" by artists JungGiGo and Soyou of SISTAR.
