‘The Vampire Diaries’ Star Paul Wesley Films Final Scene With Nina Dobrev; CW Actor Purchases New Home, Ready To Move In With Phoebe Tonkin?

It has been confirmed that Nina Dobrev already filmed her last scene with "The Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley. In one of her latest Instagram photos, the Canadian beauty shared her experience which understandably broke the hearts of Stelena shippers.

"The Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley was the first love interest of Nina Dobrev in the CW series. Fans coined the term "Stelena" for the two's characters, Stefan Salvatore and Elena Gilbert.

"Just finished filming my last Stefan and Elena scene with the amazing Paul Wesley," the brunette beauty captioned her photo.

Apart from Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev likewise finished filming her final scene with her on-and-off-screen best friends Candice Accola and Kat Graham.

In the Instagram snap, the three girls were seen crying.

"Officially a mess," Nina Dobrev captioned the photo. "No hiding it anymore. Today has been a day filled with farewells..it's officially a wrap on Caroline&Elena&Bonnie."

Nina Dobrev added that she would love the "two beautiful, funny, sweet, sassy, amazingly talented and lovely ladies" with her heart and soul "forever and always."

Nina Dobrev recently announced her decision to quit the show where she's been playing the lead role for the past six years. Several reports suggest that the "Let's Be Cops" actress wants to focus on movies.

Since the show's current season will be Nina Dobrev's last, a Hollywood Life source said that the producers wanted this season to mean something.

"The show wants to give Nina her proper finish. She deserves it and many don't want to bastardize that by adding her to next season, even in a guest spot situation."

Meanwhile, as cast members of "The Vampire Diaries" feel sad over Nina Dobrev's departure, Paul Wesley has a reason to feel delighted.

Recently, "The Vampire Diaries" star Paul Wesley dropped $2 million for a 3,240-square-foot home in the Studio City hills. The property, which was previously owned by Counting Crows' keyboardist Charlie Gillingham, has four bedrooms.

The Polish actor's recent purchase makes some fans wonder if he will soon invite girlfriend Phoebe Tonkin to live with him.
