"World War Z" Star Brad Pitt Continues Smoking As Wife Angelina Jolie Struggles To Fight Possible Cancer?

After a number of attempts to quit smoking, "World War Z" actor Brad Pitt seemed like he cannot stop himself from puffing a cigarette while his wife, "Maleficent" star Angelina Jolie, reportedly struggles to fight off possible cancer.

In a report by The Daily Mail, the "World War Z" actor was photographed in a secluded area to get himself some nicotine while he was on the set of her new movie "The Big Short" in New Orleans.

The 51-year-old actor was photographed leaning against a vehicle as he was all alone while smoking a cigarette. Th said photo reportedly showes that he has not been successful in curbing his addiction.

Brad Pitt first tried to quit puffing cigarette when he was filming "Troy" in 2004 as a requirement for his fitness.

In an interview with IGN.com, "World War Z" actor Brad Pitt said, "It was four meals a day of protein and low carb. And it was quitting smoking, and it was two, three hours in the gym, getting to a point of absolute discomfort."

But he was not successful.

He added, "I've actually picked it up, and then quit, and then picked it up again."

The "Fury" actor tried again in 2011 while filming "World War Z" in Budapest but to no success.

While Brad Pitt struggles with his own addiction, which may possibly lead to cancer, his wife Angelina Jolie is fighting possible breast cancer.

The "Maleficent" star has just recovered from her latest round of surgery while spending time with their six children.

Just last month, Angelina Jolie revealed that she had her ovaries and fallopian tubes removed as a preventive measure against cancer following her double mastectomy in 2013.

According to reports, Angelina Jolie's mother Marcheline Bertrand died from ovarian cancer in 2007 and there is an increased possibility that the "Maleficent" actress can also acquire the same illness.

"Maleficent" actress Angelina Jolie said that her preventive measures against ovarian cancer is because she wanted to live a longer life for her family.

Reports, meanwhile, revealed that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will soon have an addition to their growing family as they are planning to adopt a child from Syria, News.com said.
