Lim Kim Climbs Music Charts With Pre-Release Track 'Awoo' As Anticipation Grows For Album Featuring Songs By SHINee's Jonghyun, Beenzino, Primary, and More

A twenty-one-year-old songstress is winning over South Korean music listeners.

In preparation for the release of upcoming album "Simple Mind," Kim Lim of Togeworl released "Awoo," a song written by Amoeba Culture artist Primary. Shortly after being released, "Awoo" appeared on Korean digital charts.

Along with the release of "Awoo" was the release of the track listing, revealing that "Simple Mind"  includes songs by several prominent Korean musicians.

"Awoo" offer Lim Kim's fans a more mature, flirtatious sound than past songs from her duo Twogeworl and solo songs like "Goodbye 20."

While "Awoo" is a pre-release track from Lim Kim's upcoming "Simple Mind" album, it appeared in the top five of Daum's real time music chart within two days of being released.

The track listing reveals that Primary wrote and composed "Awoo," while the title track "You'll Get Hurt If You Know" as well as "You Say It First" were composed by Mystic Entertainment's CEO Yoon Jong Shin. The album will also contain a collaboration song featuring and co-created with Beenzino, "Breeze."

The third song on the album, "No More," was a gift co-created by SHINee's Jonghyun for Lim Kim.

Puer Kim and Lucid Fall wrote the remainder of the songs. 

"Simple Mind," will released on April 27, while the music video for title track "You'll Get Hurt If You Know" will be released on April 26.

The album will comprise of seven songs in total.
