K-Pop Review: Re:BLUE by CNBLUE

Rocker-idols, CNBLUE, made their long awaited comeback with their 4th mini album, "Re:Blue."

When I heard the teasers I wasn't sure I was going to be a fan, and after listening to the song in its entirety I was wasn't sure I liked it at all but "I'm Sorry" has come to grow on me. Its not my favorite song from them or even my favorite song off this album, but its solid. Its really just a standard CNBLUE Korean song because its not 100% rock like some of their Japanese work, but its still got their rocker flare.

Score: .75/1

I. LOVE. THIS. SONG. "Coffee Shop" is so my favorite song on "Re:BLUE." I really want to know why they didn't choose to promote this song instead. I guess its probably the lack of Lee Jonghyun singing, and Jungshin's backup vocals, but that could have been fixed. I listen to it, and I can picture the music video they could have done, and everything. "Coffee Shop" actually reminds me of their song "Love" a little bit, and I can image a MV like that for this song.

Score: 1/1

This album was solid. There were some amazing songs, some so so, but nothing I absolutely didn't like. It really reflects my feelings for the group. C.N Blue is solid, they aren't the average gimmick focused Kpop group, and I love that.

Me Than You: .75/1

Man Like Me: 1/1

La La La: .5/1

Where You Are (English Version): .5/1

Final Score: 3.75/5
