Just days after being named one of PEOPLE magazine's World's Most Beautiful Women, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model Gigi Hadid suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction when her dress split in the wind and revealed her undies!

The 20-year-old model celebrated her birthday less than one week ago and was photographed on Wednesday in NYC, where she was busy at work on a photo shoot following some birthday weekend celebrations.

The paparazzi caught a snap of Gigi Hadid just as the slit in her wrap dress opened up in a gust of wind, exposing what appeared to be a pair of nude panties. Fortunately, nothing too revealing was exposed.

Despite the awkward wardrobe malfunction, Gigi looked stunning in her high ponytail, belted dress, thigh-high stiletto boots, and hot-pink Chanel purse.

Gigi, who is daughter to "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Yolanda Foster, was named one of PEOPLE Magazine's World's Most Beautiful Women last week. She is also the face of Maybelline, returning as a GUESS girl, a Seafolly brand ambassador, a VS Pink rep, a star in Mario Testino's Towel Series, and dating Australian pop singer Cody Simpson.
