2NE1's CL looked futuristic and fierce in her latest promotional photos for cosmetics brand Maybelline New York. In the stills, the idol donned a shimmering corset and star-studded halter-top. Her accessories included chunky inverted bangles, large hoops, coiling rings and a metallic ponytail cuff. Her dramatic transformation was finished with dramatic geometric makeup and her signature long lashes.

CL had previously shared a zoomed-in preview photo from the pictorial with her Instagram followers, along with the caption, "Shooting for #maybellinenewyork."

The main product CL is currently endorsing for the brand is the new Mega Eyes Volume Express Waterproof mascara, which has "mega curling" power. The rapper even starred in a commercial for the makeup it item, where she donned a Barbie-pink Moschino combination and talked about the importance of long lashes.

According to Maybelline, the mascara adds volume to lashes with the help of a glamorous, micro brush. The strong formula is resistant to water and sweat, guaranteeing a long-lasting, all day look.

Previous endorsement models for Maybelline include Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sex and the City actress Kristin Davis.

Recently, CL had an interview with New York based magazine The Fader, where she discussed her incognito status in the United States and upcoming American debut.
