Grace Park is a veteran of over 100 episodes for "Hawaii Five-0" but she still struggles about some aspects of the role, swimming in her little bikini for one.

Although most people think that filming in Hawaii would be a dream, with the sun up and the tranquil open sea, the 41-years-old actress would like to disabuse their minds as she insisted that it can get very cold, very quickly.

She explained to TVLine, "I know - it's Hawaii, so you think, 'What's she talking about?' But why don't I put you in my little outfit and put the north winds on you for a few hours, and see how you do!"

Grace Park also explained the craziness surrounding the filming for the next episode of "Hawaii Five-0" season 5.

 "Yeah, it was a little insane when they dump like 70 gallons of water on you from above and you have water cannons and wind machines and wave machines in the pool, and rain towers - but it was still fun," she said.

"It feels really, really good to just apply yourself and work hard towards a result in one episode. It's more rewarding."

In the next episode of "Hawaii Five-0" season 5, Grace Park teased, it's going to be Kono against the elements in order to fulfill her mother's dream of circling the islands on an outrigger on a solo run.

As fans of the series know, it won't go exactly as planned as she's on a collision course with a huge storm that puts her skills to the test, and her life in peril.

"She's on what is essentially a three-man boat, but you could do it by yourself, if you had glassy water," she said. "You definitely don't want 20-foot waves."

Grace Park described the next episode of "Hawaii Five-0" season 5 as "experiential" as fans will be taking the trip with Kono and empathize with what she goes through, "Because if you're lost out at sea, there are a lot of head games happening, lots of fears you have to battle, maybe from hallucinations.... You're your only company out there, so you run the gamut of emotions and thoughts, about living and dying."
